Warranty

Plunge City Pty Ltd
ABN: 17 672 928 451

Our cold plunges are built to be tough, reliable and made to last. Purchasing a cold plunge is a significant investment, and this warranty is part of our commitment to making sure you feel confident and supported long after your unit is delivered. Nothing in this warranty limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Standard warranty – 2 years

  • Every cold plunge purchased from Plunge City comes with a 2‑year standard warranty from the date of delivery.

  • During this period, if your cold plunge develops a fault due to defects in materials or workmanship under normal use, we will arrange a repair or replacement at no cost to you for parts and labour.

  • This warranty applies to residential use only unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Extended warranty – upgrade to 5 years

  • You can choose to upgrade to an extended warranty of up to 5 years for an additional fee at the time of purchase (or within any timeframe you specify on‑site).

  • The extended warranty provides the same level of coverage as the standard warranty (parts and labour for defects in materials or workmanship) for the extended period.

  • Full details of pricing and how to add the extended warranty are provided on the product page at checkout.

What is covered

Subject to the exclusions below, the warranty covers:

  • Defects in materials and workmanship of the cold plunge unit and included components when used in accordance with our instructions.

  • Repair or replacement of defective parts, including reasonable labour required to complete the repair, at Plunge City’s option.

  • Where a repair is not practical or reasonable, Plunge City may choose to provide a replacement unit or another suitable remedy in line with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

What is not covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, unauthorised modifications or failure to follow the care and maintenance instructions.

  • Damage resulting from improper water chemistry, freezing, power surges, use of non‑approved accessories or operation outside recommended conditions.

  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage (such as minor scratches or discoloration) that does not affect performance.

  • Commercial or non‑residential use, unless expressly agreed in writing.

  • Costs associated with gaining access to the product for repair (for example, removing built‑in structures) or with transporting the product where this is not reasonable in the circumstances.

  2. Assessment: We will assess the claim, which may involve troubleshooting with you remotely and/or arranging an inspection by a technician.

  3. Resolution: If the issue is covered by this warranty or required to be remedied under the Australian Consumer Law, we will arrange the appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement or another solution consistent with your rights. We aim to resolve warranty matters as quickly and efficiently as possible.
